From a storytelling perspective, the clothing worn by most of the characters in Perfect Crown has been chosen with care: The traditional hanbok of the queen mother. The hunting garb known as cheollik worn by the grand prince. The fact that Huiju and I-an coordinate their outfits.

Taejong fell off his horse while hunting, so I drew him in a casual attire (융복) worn in martial contexts like hunting or war. His hat (갓) is based on “Akhak gwebeom (악학궤범)” written in 1493, robe (철릭) is based on excavated 14th~15th century clothings and royal portrait of Taejo (father of Taejong).

Hanbok is an umbrella term but I think the garment worn for hunting/ military were called cheollik...

But they did approach traditional Korean garments, like the jeogori and cheollik, with respect, so kudos to the Sewing Bee.
