A lot of critical areas are more pole-ward than I thought. But luckily Chesmo is pretty hot, so it should still all be azdov-habitable.
There is a tiny area of ice at the pools, but it’s just below freezing, and sealed off from the lake’s coats by polar currents, keeping the cold air stuck.

Also, normally a planet with no seasons would have large cold regions, but Chesmo is pretty close to its star, so its icy area is still tiny.

Chesmo, the Azdov homeworld, has negligible axial tilt (practically no axial tilt) and thus doesn’t have noticeable seasons like Earth does.
The planet is an eternal equinox-like state. This produces stable unchanging climate bands.
Freezing temps can only be found in small polar areas.

Chesmo, the Azdov homeworld, has negligible axial tilt (practically no axial tilt) and thus doesn’t have noticeable seasons like Earth does.

In contrast here’s a feild in one of the few green parts of the planet. These giant leaf structures are called monophytes and they’re a type of tree on Chesmo.
