The Chester County Commission unanimously adopted the 2026–27 budget, fixing the county tax levy at 1.5853 and approving appropriations for departments, nonprofits, the fire department and a schools federal project fund; budget committee chair Anne Moore said the plan includes employee raises and meets maintenance-of-effort requirements.
