Color photo of the top portion of a work bay at an old service station under a bright blue sky. Two pink terra cotta pilasters with fluted centers are topped with capitals featuring frozen fountains. These flank the entrance to the bay. Across the top is a matching Art Deco dream of a frieze -- a repeating pattern of chevrons, volutes and palms. Beneath this, someone has painted terra cotta ashlar blocks white and printed TUNE-UP/OIL CHANGE in red. Between this and a course of pink terra cotta panels with horizontal fluting is the original identifying frieze for this bay. It has the words TIRES - TUBES in dark brown Art Deco letters on a light tan background. Underneath this, the door to the bay is open, revealing a dark and murky interior. Signs of a more modern vintage have been added to the bottom of the pilaster to the right; one that threatens unauthorized vehicles, and another small neon sign saying OPEN.

Turning pride flags into designs for my pins is always a fun challenge but I'm particularly proud of the new bold LGBTQ+ pride robin.

She's got all 11 progress pride colours there somewhere, and even has a little intersex bird ring on her foot because I can never resist making ecological #SciArt
Two pins in the shape of european robins. One is marked as LGBTQ+ subtle and is mostly the brown red and white colours you would expext of a robin but with rainbow wingtips and pastel pink and blue in the shadow of the wing. The other is labelled LGBTQ+ bold and has rainbow chevrons taking up its whole wing and back. The beak is brown and the tail is black. The breast is pastel pink with a pastel blue fringe, and the belly is white. The legs are yellow with a small purple patch on the ankle of one leg.
