This is purely because I find gunfights a little dull to draw compared to close up brawls; being able to add weird utility limits like people wielding muzzleloading rifles or revolvers with bayonets or whatever keeps the action scenes nice and chopsocky

The reason for the adding of techno to the Chopsocky is their way of dealing with corporate soundtracks. Kung fu flicks from the 70s and 80s would rip off Pink Floyd, Indiana Jones, and Spaghetti Western soundtracks.
What’s this trend of adding bullshit wannabe techno to the soundtrack of Chopsocky? The composer must have an inferiority complex about Pink Floyd, Indiana Jones, or Spaghetti Westerns. (70s and 80s kung fu movies would rip off soundtracks.)

Guns is the new things, but supposedly there’s a "sacred manual" that teaches how to defeat them.
book that teaches it all is a old trope, its goes back to the era of chopsocky, It’s the plot of Bruce Deadly Fingers, Spiritual Kung Fu, and many more.
