People forget that Texas wasn’t always this hard right; it was a slow burn. I’ve lived here for over 30 years and I remember what it was like before the Christofascists took over. To put it bluntly, it wasn’t great for us then, either. We should all be concerned about religion in politics.

I certainly hope so, but I think the fascist / oligarchical movement in the US is here to stay, mainly because that’s where the $ is. Between the technofascists like Elon & the christofascists like Leo there’re trillions of $ behind it. We’re gonna have to work like crazy to try to marginalize it.
