Wind Waker HD came in 2013, about ten years after its original release.

The Koroks are some of my favorite plush I've made, even before BotW reintroduced them.

Link's Awakening HD was also released today in 2019. The Wind Fish was a trick to sew!

A group of three travelling warriors, surrounded my monsters. Yet as the beasts close in, the band of three ready their weapons: their prey have finally sprung their trap! Three fully painted miniatures, based on the Gerudo and Hylian guards from the Legend of Zelda series, are surrounded by miniature Chuchus and Stalchild, all stood on a custom made tile, designed to look like a clearing or forest floor. A fully painted Gerudo miniature. Her clothes are painted a vibrant purple, with a bright white sash around her waist. Her skin is painted a warm, light brown/tan colour. Her hair is a vivid red, consrasted by the thin line of blue along her bottom lip. She wields a large polearm with a curved blade, resting it casually across her shoulder with one hand. The miniature is stood on a base painted and textured to resemble arid earth or desert, with a little dry shrub on it. A fully painted miniature of a Hylian guard. He stands noticably taller than other Hylians, so I painted him with a similar skintone to the Gerudo shown previously, implying he might be at least part Gerudo. He wears his black hair in a swishy, emo style fringe that covers most of his face, and his mail shirt isn't long enough to cover his toned abs. He wears standard Hylian guard uniform: black shorts, steel greaves, bracers and chestplate, with an undershirt of scalemail. All of the metal elements are painted in non-metallic metal, with the mail shirt having a blue tint to it. The miniature is stood on a base painted and textured to look like a grassy field or clearing. A fully painted miniature of a Hylian guard. She is wearing the same style of armour as the previous guard, with the addition of a helmet, topped with an orange plume. She is wielding a large greatsword with a golden hand guard. Though mostly covered by her armour, her skin is painted a warm, dark brown. Like the previous guard, her base is made to look like a grassy field or clearing.

ASR1 had AiAi, Amigo, BD Joe, Beat, Alex Kidd, Ulala, Ryo, Billy Hatcher, Mobo & Robo, the ChuChus, Opa-Opa, Akira & Jacky, and Zobio & Zobiko for a total of 14 Sega racers.

and i thought Breath of The Wild was crazy for implementing things introduced in Wind Waker (paragliding, the Koroks, the Rito)

oh and don’t forget enemy drops being used as materials for things like potions (IM LOOKING AT YOU SPECIFICALLY, CHUCHUS.)

i never see people bring up the hilarity that is the spell spell in zelda 2 because yeah it's Primary Use is to open a vault in kasuto but in combat link can also turn most monsters into bots (if you don't know z1&2 monsters, bots and bits are basically chuchus before chuchus were a thing […]
