Managed to write over 3400 words today on my day off, which is much better than what I have been able to do before!
That said, I'm still behind for #CimWrites2026, though I think at this point I'm only going to be able to "manage" the backlog until I get my layoff in a month or so...

The "finished chapters" draft, separate from my "main writing" draft of my big #CimWrites2026 project which has all the old, rewritten chapters, is now at 52,000 words.
And I think I'm only just *now* getting to the main plot.
Ohhh, editing is going to be a bitch....

I'm well into turning my story into a full-fledged sci-fi one now, than just the semi-medieval one that it was starting as. Though I also think that when I do go to edit, the first few chapters might have to be scrapped/rewritten, I dunno.

I have done almost 5 months worth of writing in just under 3, with about 1,734 words per day cumulative (though, closer to 2,321 taking into account there are some days I haven't written)
