@council.nyc.gov has led the way, securing $2B in infrastructure investments through our #CityForAll housing plan, including stormwater and drainage systems, flood mitigation, and sewer upgrades.

But New Yorkers need even deeper investments to prepare for extreme weather events.

I'm proud to have secured funding + the creation of a new City/State Action Group to advance solutions for Mitchell-Lamas through @council.nyc.gov's #CityForAll housing plan.

I'll continue fighting to preserve affordability for Mitchell-Lamas that generations of New Yorkers have called home.
Mitchell-Lamas have allowed generations of New Yorkers to affordably live in NYC, but rising costs threaten to erode affordability.

@nycspeakeradams.bsky.social and several Members worked hard to secure funding + continue to partner to ensure these homes remain affordable to residents.

Rather than putting survivors of domestic violence at risk, NYCHA should expedite transfer requests to ensure they are situated in safe homes.

Our #CityForAll plan includes significant funding to speed up the repair of vacant NYCHA units, and these apartments must be brought back online.
In a shocking new report, LSNYC reveals that NYCHA is making survivors of gender-based violence wait YEARS to get emergency transfers, putting their lives at risk & forcing them to live with or near their abusers or move into a homeless shelter: www.legalservicesnyc.org/news/new-rep...
