It’s a bit late, but here is a snippet from a later scene in my claude/ashe longfic for #ClasheWeekend

“they’re like two rescue dogs” - quote from @rose3writes.bsky.social when I showed this to her lol

You can read the first 63k words of this one here: archiveofourown.org/works/726389...
Ashe was silent for so long, staring at the table, his fists tense at his sides, that Claude thought he might simply walk away. Finally, he wiped his face with a sleeve and let out a long breath. “You’re wrong. About what you said in the library.” His eyes—two round, deep wells of sorrow—met Claude’s. “I’ll never be the kind of knight I once thought. But you’ve inspired me not to give up, not completely. I wanted to be a knight to protect people, and I’ve finally found something else worth protecting with all that I have. All I ask is that you let me try.” For all he complained about Ashe’s guilt, Claude’s own attempted to claw its way through his chest with each breath. For all he bemoaned Ashe’s stubbornness, Claude wanted to lie prostrate at the feet of every deity worshipped on the continent and beyond to thank them for its existence. None of Claude’s distancing had worked. Ashe was still here. He was here and asking for trust, effectively putting his life in Claude’s hands. Willing to fight for a church that lied to him. He didn’t know his own Goddess had never heard a single one of his prayers. He didn’t even know Claude’s real name. “You have to stay alive for that, you know,” said Claude. The first hint of a smile, like a seed sprouting through hard ground. “I know.”

A background of a pile of brown ropes. A green overlay with stripes sits in the vertical center of the image. Text over it reads, "Ties That Bind," Clashe (Claude/Ashe), Rated E, two point seven thousand words.

An attempt at angst but (I think) it still reads well. #ClasheWeekend

[For Your Broken Dreams]
*🏹 #Clashe
*🏹 Canon Divergent (minor), Azure Moon, Angst with (eventual) Happy Ending
*🏹 Canon typical injury, blood; Non-canon swearing
*🏹 Complete, btw.

A fic promo image. A picture of a castle in the distance of an empty field. A plain green colored strip runs down the left side of the image. Text over everything reads: "For Your Broken Dreams," Claude/Ashe, Rated Teen, one thousand words, chapter one of two. Chapter one: Gronder. Ashe screams a moment too late. The archer fires off one, two arrows in quick succession, piercing the soft underbelly of the wyvern. The creature howls in pain and falls to the ground with an earth shattering crash sending dust and dirt flying into the sky like a wave crashing upon the shore."

Another longfic. This one is incomplete. I’d guess about 90% written and 80% posted. Rating for just a couple of scenes.

And a little pre-slash Clashe for #ClasheWeekend. Written for my first zine participation (wish it had gone better) and I'm still proud of how it turned out.

I unfortunately didn't get my act together for #ClasheWeekend, but I've written a handful of things for them. Hope you don't mind some rebagels. 💜

This one is inspired by real (annoying) events during a trip two years ago. No meet-cute scenario IRL though.
