The ancient yew tree in All Saints' churchyard, Claverley, is remarkable and estimated to be around 2,500 years old. I cannot help but wonder what this historic tree has borne witness to. The tree's existence could also hint at the area being a potential pre-Christian sacred space.

They were near neighbours- the Twentymans lived at Claverley and Anthony did a couple of large sculptures for the Dudmaston estate…. There’s a BBC film about the restoration of one of them I think?
