ClawShot’s funding my game thanks to my fans on patreon, it’s how I’m able to avoid needing a publisher or KickS. It’s also why I can’t just not promote ClawShot on insta. Insta followers will just have to accept seeing horny OC posting among horror game progress =_=

The Hookshot and Lens of Truth have both gotten major design changes. The Hookshot is now the Clawshot from later Zelda names but with the original item's name and the Lens of Truth are now glasses

Big part of why I decided [un]Divine is better to turn into a game as opposed to ClawShot is how specific and varied the location designs are, I don’t get bored running around the school that’s for sure

It's honestly a damn shame that more folks don't enjoy both. Clawshot was my intro and then I fell in love with [un]Divine after poking around desperate for more of your work

I guess I'm not saying they're "good," exactly, but they don't ruin the game for me. And I'm willing to waggle the sword around if it means I can point and aim with the bow and clawshot. But for sure, Skyward Sword did it better.

They’re fine with renaming Gerudo Training Grounds but they still call it a Hookshot after clearly changing it to the Clawshot from TP?

It looks way different than every other Hookshot design and again looks closer to the Clawshot, especially in motion. It can still latch onto chests, but no longer roofs of buildings, at least the ones in Kakariko.

only partially related but i am so simultaneously nervous and curious how the OoT remake is going to tackle reworking a bunch of its puzzle design around having a Clawshot instead of a Hookshot so you DO need actual designated grapple-able surfaces now, instead of more subtle wooden surfaces/objects

weirdly i feel like basing the grappling claw off of MM's hookshot might be the move to make it not look like a direct ripoff of the hookshot/clawshot

I don't have a longshot in the plans…I have a double clawshot though 😏
Regarding custom text, I unfortunately don't intend on implementing any. I already had to moderate 8 uploaded temples with obscene and/or racist connotations, I don't have the time or resources to moderate custom text as well.

Saw someone complain -your typical rage bait bullshit- about the hookshot in the OoT remake, because they took the clawshot redesign, but kept the hookshot name and functionality, and this person was banging the pots asking for outrage and I'm like... my dude, is just a redesign, is not that deep
