Deputy Director Rick Harland told the Joint Sustainability Committee that Austin’s fleet program has grown from 39 battery-electric vehicles in 2017 to a forecasted ~430 by the end of 2026, producing modeled life-to-date savings of about $3.1 million and cutting an estimated 46,500 metric tons of CO2.
