Today I want to share a bit about what can happen when I stage a scene to photograph. The first image is not very interesting. The second one is after I cleared away some grass, added some "props," and placed a light above the opening at the top.

Between the heat, humidity and the wildfire smoke it has been hard to get outside with my camera. Yesterday there was a little bit of a break so I snuck out for a few minutes. Here are a few of the small creatures I encountered.
