YIPPEE it’s that time of year again!!

I became obsessed with @hoshimiyatoto.bsky.social’s album “POP-AID” last year and haven’t stopped listening to it since 🙌

Maybe 2025 will be dethroned by Toto-san’s new albums from this year (looking at you “Learn To Swim” 👀)

Next up, some viral songs from this year starting with sasuke haraguchi’s “イガク” (Medicine)

I have no clue how to describe this other than experimental menhera hyperpop with Kasane Teto(???)

Anyway who cares, it’s fun! ユ！

水槽 (suisoh) is probably my favourite new producer that I discovered and started following more closely this year. I was surprised just how many songs she's been behind, and really love her singing voice too!

WARNING: LOUD HYPER-POP AHEAD 🔊

nyankobrq and Yaca are a fairly recent favourite duo that I really enjoy together! Hyperpop like this just pumps me up in a way no other genre can, best listened to blasting on speakers‼️

On the topic of TAKU INOUE collaborations, here's a track from PAS TASTA's album "GRAND POP" co-produced by TAKU INOUE!

I only recently learned they produced a lot of my favourite songs, like from DAOKO for example 😅

And on the topic of Vocaloid producers, Harumaki Gohan’s songs have always hit me on an emotional/narrative level and their latest album doesn’t change that!

In particular the song “僕は可憐な少女にはなれない“ (i can’t be a floret) is so 🥺😭

Honourable mention for May's #CobaltA01FM

The song Suisei composed (with TAKU INOUE)「綺麗事」had it's MV released and it is just... beautiful 🥹

I'm so weak to these kinds of stories, I can't help but cry every time I watch the MV 😭
