Hey all! Brand new to the sub and thought I'd share my first successful closed jar thingy. I forgor the name of the plant but all I put was a small clipping of it, cocofiber, lil pinch of potting soil and some wotta. Last pic shows how cramped it was getting lol going to trim this n plant the clipping, wish me luck!Also if anyone can lmk what the green stuff on the side is that would b greatly appreciated :))by woahtheredoodyguy

1 - aquire a 29 Gallon fish tank from a retiring teacher 2 - create drainage layer out of cut-to-fit filter foam. Also use this to create the hills and cave. 3 - spray great stuff pond and stone on the cliff face, sprinkling sphagnum moss and cocofiber on the surface to make it look more natural. Don't forget to smash some rocks in there too to add an extra layer of texture. 4 - after the foam sets, add a layer of charcoal on the bottom to help further filter and prevent smells. She coming along so nice. Have a bit if a setback after putting in the glass piece at the bottom. mfkr beading in 2 spots. Now i have to re silicone that shit cause theres a waterfall on the left side. Still gotta touch up the cocofiber on the Back and add the moss but after that, i can add my substrate and plants. Any tips for the siliconing would be nice, but again its only beading in 2 spots. I dont wanna have to strip all the silicone and redo it all if possible.by 1ilMa
