The attribute is a marker indicating which class realize the interface. to give the developer the option to opt in. And then somehow why factory class is aware of all those types at compile time. But as @flash0ver.bsky.social mentioned works just in certain cases. Analyzer+codefix compliments it.

I like the idea.
But the devil is in the detail: this only works for reference types that have the default constructor or a parameterless .ctor.

But I guess that's something a Diagnostic Analyzer on Attribute-annotated reference types + a CodeFix Provider could alleviate.

This is a codefix, but I sorta now want to see this as a real error that can be run across the topXYZ/user tests; it seems like the specific pattern of "no other statements than a return of a call's promise in a try catch" is nearly always a bug? It could only ever catch throws before first yield
