And yeah, having powered it up now it does seem like this was a demo/prototype unit. Early software release (it's an MR16.8 project, January 2018), and default factory codeplug.

I dont wanna give my infrastructure away but I do run dual boot on the big box. This is for programming softwares that don't emulate on wine or bottles well and I need to push a codeplug (radio term) really fast otherwise linux distro for everything else. I actually started learning linux around 06

I've been really lucky to find a club (after 2nd try) that has been so very helpful. They hooked me up with a codeplug (file you load and comes with all channels etc preloaded for this area). Once I saw how it was set up there, I just edit or add as a needed.

What this will allow is offline codeplug editing and writing with CPS16, which means that I can use the out of range repeater I got sent by mistake.

Haven’t seen such an overengineered system for a long time… and after all it feels like a complicated but yet limited version of Clubhouse…
Maybe I’m doing it wrong? Maybe I’m missing something?

存在は前から知っていましたが周波数やCodeplugが分からず試行錯誤でした
情報開示はfacebookだけなのね...
ハムフェアで展示らしいですが、そのあたりの情報はオープンに出来ないものでしょうかね
微妙な問題があるのは知っていますが
周波数は438MHz台、TG:1(Group),Color:1SLOT:1でした
30分程度立ったらカーチャンクで音声アナウンスが流れます
存在は前から知っていましたが周波数やCodeplugが分からず試行錯誤でした

Holy shit I got the radio to send an `SN-ACTIVATE PDP CONTEXT DEMAND` PDU after much fiddling around with options in the codeplug. Now I just need to… implement the whole SNDCP protocol. :blobfoxcofe:

Honestly looks like it’s never been used. Seems like gold/factory codeplug and the screen protector and rubber plugs on the back connectors were still fitted. Super fortunate eBay find.

Well I guess I won't be using the Motorola XPR 7550 at Head of the Charles since:
1. The ICS-205 changed.
2. The codeplug is a bitch to program.
2. I'm not really in the mood to hexedit the CPS so I can use 25khz...
Looks like I'll use the Yaesu FT-5D instead or maybe my Anytone 868.
