What grinds my gears is the women of color in leadership are the perpetrators and apologists that keep this abuse going. They are worse than white men to me bc they have the audacity to think we friends. Idc if you call me sis, we are not kin. Idc if you can codeswitch, idfwy
I work with 10 women. 4 have left in the past few months. 2 fired, 2 quit. I have personally written letters to the board and interviewed with a hr firm that was brought in to handle these issues. All of that has resulted in nothing because Black women and women of color are being fired unfairly.

German is my mother tongue, though I don't speak it often anymore. But when I go to Essen each year in October, it's a helluva codeswitch - by the end of a week or more, I struggle with English a little. It's wild.
