#CoinWednesday
#CoinWednesday – Bronze as of Hadrian depicting Britannia seated on a rock, holding a spear, with a shield beside her. The first provincial personification on Hadrianic coinage, it likely commemorated the restoration of Roman control following unrest in Britain. Dated AD 119–120.

#CoinWednesday - This bronze coin of Hadrian from Ephesus shows a laureate head of the emperor on the obverse and a stag on the reverse. The stag is fitting for Ephesus, linked to Artemis, the city's patron goddess and deity of the Artemision.
