Studies, including a new one released this year, show that the risk of adverse health conditions such as cancer is much greater for people who live near oil and gas operations. The latest study showed that kids are at risk of a type of cancer even when they live 8 miles away.

Colorado Healthcare Payment System Analysis
ColoradoSPH will analyze draft model legislation for implementing a single-payer, nonprofit, publicly financed, and privately delivered universal health-care payment system for Colorado that directly compensates providers (analysis);and Submit a report detailing its findings to the health and human services committees of the house of representatives and the senate by December 31, 2026.
