A colourful street parade in Barcelona during Día de la Hispanidad. In the foreground, a woman dances toward the camera wearing an elaborate purple, green, yellow, and pink folkloric costume richly decorated with floral patterns, embroidery, sequins, ribbons, and ornaments. She wears a light-coloured wide-brimmed hat decorated with bright feathers and other embellishments. Behind her, a group of similarly dressed dancers moves along the street, including a performer in a multicoloured costume with a decorated headdress and raised arms. Spectators watch from the pavement and balconies beneath a canopy of trees, while a Spanish flag flies above the street. The dancers’ costumes and choreography appear to draw on Andean folkloric traditions.
