Made this exact same argument in High School as to why women should be allowed in combat. Firearms even the playing field and in most combat encounters you aren’t doing crazy combatives shit.

Jane is also a black belt in the UNSC Combatives system (writing lore for the ODST style of fighting, it's pretty much Combat Sambo X dutch kickboxing)
