For October, I'm posting a choose your own adventure daily comic called "Becoming". It's meant to be read on IG, but I'll post 'em here too!
I used tarot decks, animal oracle deck, and story dice to give me story directions.
(If ya wanna read in its original format: www.instagram.com/katfcomix/)

Tried something I almost never done with this one, both with the format and the rendering technique. The joy of these kind of challenges is that I can share experiments without feeling bad about it-

Every DC comic in the 80s advertised itself as NEW FORMAT. Like, published in a triangle? Or the pages would be stapled at the top? Had to read it sideways?

Day 2
Today we're going back to 2005 for a uh perfectly normal Christmas comic. Another scroll format comic that I've cut up for bluesky.
At the time I was in the Worms fandom, but i really just liked using the simple cartoony designs to make my own characters.

You know, I am not sure how well suited this comic would be for that format, or if this is something you have any interest in at all, but should you ever make physical/print copies of Frog & Hound, I'd love to get one

But Light Novels are like manga, or manwha in Korean, but fewer pictures.
Manga is sorta a comic in a softcover book format, all sequential cells, LNs are closer to an illustrated book usually, in the same soft cover.
As far as I understand anyway. Happy to be corrected.

Cover art for a Brazilian Portuguese release of the Batman Forever (Batman Para Sempre) Comic Adaptation, put out by Editora Abril. It features that absolutely stunning cover art by John Hanley that was used on the prestige format version here in the US.

I’m tinkering with the format. Let me know if it’s harder or easier to read! I caught a cold so I need some sleep but I will put up the bonus page for paid Patreon members first Friday night! If you would like to see it before Monday join here patreon.com/Chainbreaker...

I posted some storyboards from *For Your Own Good, Baby*.
I also included some text-based storyboards, early design ideas, and thoughts and notes from the early stages of production.

I had no idea this was a thing that existed until I saw it at the comic shop today. These are heckin cool.
Frankly I think I like this format better than the IDW Artist Editions.

This was greatly inspired by the first Peanuts strip, "How I Hate Him". I love the fact that the first time we meet Charlie Brown ends on a button like that.
I've always loved the format to comic strips because you can play with timing!

SURPRISE! MY FIRST COMIC IN 12 YEARS!!!
I was inspired by all the amazing comic folk I met at Baltimore Comic Con that I finished this comic strip I doodled out the week we lost Dolly Parton, Tim Curry, and Peter Cullen.
This is Darwyn! Channeling how we’re feeling in the fun time that is 2026.

I am loving making this comic. It's the format Heidi/Lex/Cozy and Heidi were meant to exist in.
Does seeing them interact change your perceptions of them?

i have two suggestions
1. venture outside the comic format a bit! draw some single character pieces, some pinups, etc
2. draw fatter women with smaller tits and smaller cocks
