Studio Selfie: Woke up with heavy life things on my mind, so I'm coping the only way I know how -- cozy sweater, my pipe, and making comics in the studio, possible with bagpipe music playing. At least until my studio mate gets here.

Tuesday Tip: Have a hobby that's just a bobby.

Thanks to increasingly toxic hustle culture, everyone is under a ton of pressure to turn our hobbies into sources of income, which is very much not the point of a hobby.

We all need things we do just for fun and just for ourselves.

I so needed this encouragement! Thank you #comicbookdad Hard year to find creative time, for multiple reasons - caregiving, advocacy, family. I picked up knitting last week b/c I can pick away at it. It’s soothing.
