Here for it.
The thing I hate about these millennials is they pretend they were into comics in the 90s and 00s, they weren't, it wasn't a lot of us. Halle is their frame of reference for Storm and they vaguely remember some of the cartoons, I'm tired.
The real comicheads love new stories

Hahahahaha, well I grew up with the Ben they modelled this one after. We (old comicheads) HATED the 2005 version. Like, with everything wrong with those movies. His design was probably the most hated, uh, thing. 😂

MCU/DCEU YouTubers are fucking weird. A lot of these cats don't seem like they're comicheads but also don't seem like they understand filmmaking.

I ditched webtoons a while ago but yeah it's kind of "if you don't want anybody to see your comic, put it on the internet ..."
I am quite happy with Globoalcomx as a platfor right now, since it allows me a little monetisation as well, but I think it is mostly the comicheads there.

Do any older comicheads know where I can find Jim Campbell's excellent guide on comic lettering using Adobe Illustrator? It was a series of blog posts he compiled as a PDF over a decade ago
While I found his original post about it on the @2000ad.bsky.social forum, the download link no longer works
