I took a break from dev tonight and grabbed my Intuos out of storage and fired up DELETER ComicWorks.

I haven’t touched this program in probably 14 years or so, lol

I've still been kicking around that idea too, but in that case it's an even older black&white PowerBook 160 running SuperPaint and ComicWorks.

After three issues, the original illustrator Mike Saenz left the book and helped to create the software package ComicWorks, an app designed specifically for drawing comics on a Macintosh, which looks seriously like an early precursor to today's Clip Studio Pro:

Long time no see, fucker...omw to install it on an old laptop to get Deleter Comicworks to run. I know, I know, superold stuff but considering Comicworks includes 200+ digital screentones...it's a goldmine.

Yeah, the English version. I've tried every software setting but it gives me the 'oh can't run on this operating system' error on Comicworks' side of things

I am so mad I can't get comicworks to work on my Windows 10 machine. I could get it to to run on 8. The inking was really juicy as well

There was a program called GraphicWorks which did both bitmap and vector, from years before. It was also sold as ComicWorks, to target creators of comic strips.

Nowadays we have SVG as the standard online vector format. And Inkscape implements that as its native document format.
