Seven years ago, next month, I went to dinner at an Italian restaurant during CommandFest DC with Sheldon Menery, @tolariancommunitycollege.com, @bdm.bsky.social, @juion.bsky.social, and another fellow named Jake.
This cork was from one of the bottles of wine we shared that night. Good memories.

My 'Group Hugger' tokens finally arrived. You can draw over this goober & turn it into whatever you need. Sad I didn't have these for Commandfest.
I want the things that I do to leave a positive effect on the Magic community. Doesn't even have to be lasting, as long as it did something good.

At any event I go to, which will include Commandfest DC. I don’t have plans to sell them online but that may change

So at Commandfest I picked up Rusko, we brewed the deck that night and I played it on day two. I love Magic.

While I have fomo for Commandfest, this month has been a mess and I would not have survived the trip OR the event haha

This has hit particularly hard today when I made the sobering realization that, with Halloween now over, I have four and a half MONTHS between now and spring con season with absolutely nothing fun scheduled except for a single weekend of MTG at CommandFest DC in mid December.

One thing folks may have missed (because it was in an article about Star Trek) is starting next year, CommandFests will be part of the Magic Spotlight Series.
This begins with Lille and Minneapolis, both are happening January 9–10, 2027.

Sorry for not posting this weekend! It was a very busy weekend at CommandFest! I’ll resume #tokentober soon (and make a proper post about this weekend).
But in the meantime… look what I got 🙃

And I did just that (and requested the time off) so I’m gonna CommandFest so hard in December after how disappointing this weekend was.
Decided to punt on Sunday and just head home, rather than do the walk/Uber thing or figure out the convention center parking.
Alas.
However, much more looking forward to CommandFest DC in December (where I should probably extend my hotel stay since it’s a 5 hour drive).

A judge just told @nevercauses.trouble.tube "I would really prefer if you didn't" whilst showcasing her deck of mischief to an event, so you know that commandfest is going well XD
