I realized it's been a hot minute since we've had a #CommanderShepherd update! She's doing incredibly well now—last week we started letting her stay out of her room with the boys, and they're adapting to having her around. (She's doing better at not bullying them.) I'm proud of everybody!

#CommanderShepherd update! We explored more of the first floor while the boys were there! She did very good for the most part, wandered around and sniffed everything and left Triscuit and Tots alone; finally decided to go Renegade tho and hiss at Beane, but hey, it was good progress overall! 💜

#CommanderShepherd update (tw: pet pregnancy loss) -- she is unfortunately no longer pregnant (vet guessed it wasn't totally viable with her unknown history) 😞

but!! She is still in great health and has her first round of vaccines now, and we have an apt to get her spayed in a few weeks. ❤️

She's doing so well, purring a lot more, *almost* coming to snuggle beside me if I sit on the bed. Not quite at the comfort level of sitting on a lap, but she's very happy to be next to people and receive all the rubs. #CommanderShepherd

She has been out exploring more of the map while the boys are downstairs as well, and she's super curious but responsive when I call for her to come back to her room. <3 Still a very healthy appetite! We even played with a catnip toy for a bit. XD #CommanderShepherd

So in #CommanderShepherd updates! Today we did some open door time (i.e. the door to her room was open, I was sitting in the doorway to supervise, the boy cats were outside looking in and she could see them past me, so she felt safe with the Human as a barrier) and she seems to be doing better! <3
