you can be weak in one area and still totally pass. I think it would only be if you absolutely refused any of the areas that you'd be in trouble. I publish periodically and I guess I'm a pretty good teacher, and I do my committeework so I'm probably fairly safe. I'm also close enough to retirement..

And trust me, most faculty I know mostly care about getting their classes taught, their research done, their committeework accomplished while still having time to have a tiny bit of a life,we're not plotting the downfall of the nation
