Representatives of the Commonwealth Judiciary told the House that HB 24-108 would allocate about $3.6 million to the branch with only $176,000 for operations and significant personnel cuts; the judiciary asked lawmakers to exempt it from a new fixed-hours provision and to preserve governance and collections protections.
