Allegany County emergency management reported roughly $3.5 million in damage from a March 31 storm, described a building collapse with no injuries, and urged towns to better document damages so future hazard mitigation funding can be sought. County and state thresholds kept the event below declaration levels.

Greater Hudson Heritage Network presented a Phase 1 municipal art inventory for Kingston, reporting visits to 75 locations, documentation of roughly 103 objects and 592 photographs, and flagged ownership gaps and conservation needs that require follow-up research and prioritization.

Board members praised Undertold McKinney Black History Month programming, noted new breezeway history panels and said documentation of the old City Hall/development-services buildings (oral histories and architectural surveys) is complete and will be posted; members also reported recent demolitions in East McKinney, including the Malvern house.
