I drive a car but I'm really happy that people who take the bus for whatever reason - can't afford a car, are not allowed to drive a car, prefer environmentally friendly travel, etc. - save money on their journeys, which they can spend in their local cafe, give to charity, etc. #CommunityKindness

A Facebook post from the Bowdoinham Food Pantry located in Bowdoinham, ME: “❤️ We've accidentally created the nicest problem in town. ❤️ When we started the Sharing Table at the library, we wondered if people would bring food to share. Well, Bowdoinham...you have absolutely crushed that part. Because of course you did. This has always been a town where neighbors look out for one another, and your generosity has been incredible. The Sharing Table has been filled with donations from people who simply want to help. Here's the problem: not enough people are taking from it. So, if you need to hear it, this is your official permission slip. You do not have to leave something in order to take something. The Sharing Table isn't a trade. It's not "take one, leave one." It's simply neighbors helping neighbors. Maybe this week you could use a little extra. Or maybe you're walking by, spot a couple of fresh tomatoes, and think, "Those would be perfect for dinner tonight." Great! Take them.” -continued in next picture The second part of the Facebook post from the Bowdoinham Food Pantry: “If you see something you'd enjoy or that would make your week a little easier, please take it.
