I don't think I ever saw/noticed how the leaves on the compass plants curl so tightly around the stems early in the summer. 😍

I ordered some native edible plants today! 15 cattails, 3 woodland strawberries (for my in-laws place), 6 yampah, and 6 California compassplants. All edible plants native to the west coast of the United States. Yampah and California compassplants are new to me, but hopefully they will work out. 🌱
