Jurassic Park Chaos Effect Compstegnathus! What do you get when you put Compsognathus, Stegosaurus, and African tree frog DNA in a blender? This neon nightmare! Bred to be a first-strike scout it has a deadly grasping tongue that can draw in prey and a thagomiser that isn’t just for defence!

Jurassic Park Chaos Effect Compstegnathus - a cartoony (Chaos Effect was to be an animated series and the creatures are stylised in the late-90s movie animated series style) black & green + neon highlighted hybrid of stegosaurus, compsognathus and a tree frog. The basic body plan is that of the compy with the plates and spikes of the steg and colours and darting tongue of the frog.

Meet the parents! The hybrid meets a Lost World stegosaurus and compsognathus (who are also frog hybrids though not so overt)

The hybrid uses a feature derived from one parent (the frog’s firing tongue) to make a snack of another! From this angle we can see the thagomiser

i like the chaos effect toys because they're very colorful and mostly stylized and look good as toys even nowadays. they're very late 90s cartoon style because they were planning on making a cartoon. i would've watched the shit out of it as a kid.
