like i see where ur coming from and id have agreed with you 10 years ago but after all the business w/ other cons getting harassed into shutting down babyfur events or constaff implementing draconian measures on abdl kink displays i think babyfurs are right to be twitchy in this case

Being part of the #Eurofurence Staff is a dream come true, and even after all these years, I’m still afraid of waking up from it.

FWA was an absolute blast!! It might've been rough around the edges but considering the fact that it had everythint going against them this year (hotel management, constaff shortages, astronomical attendance), they really made it work

Ah, yeah that really does irk me then. Kink-washing the entire UK fandom because of one bad egg is really just bullshit, even if you don't factor in that it was ten years ago. I'm hoping there's going to be a change soon, but I doubt it. Constaff for the big cons seem too focused on media perception

I've been kind of quiet about the new expansion but truth is I went to Fanfest for the 1st time and it was so much fun!! 😭 Both the staff (Devs and constaff) and attendies were super sweet and i'm glad we had a blast!

It's a daft way they went about posting the policy, the "flags" thing is a lame dodge on "if we just ban all flags, we don't have to worry about x or y", the skin thing is ugh.
...But it is still *completely* unacceptable to threaten constaff for an exec call.
