Pulitzer Prize-winner Jack E. Davis is a Distinguished Professor of History at the University of Florida. Davis honors the Everglades, the Florida wetland known for its astounding beauty, and highlights the conservationism that ensured its protection. #WeAreAmerica250

'KEEP POLITICS OUT OF STAR TREK!'

they shout in a reply to our video reviewing the film directly calling out climate change and the critical need for conservationism after humanity did so much damage to nature

Personally I think a revival of that kind of crunchy "skeptical" Tory conservationism is what the RFK Jr crowd is attempting to do in their hearts, they're just too compromised by consumerism to approach it, so instead they end up no more than a slightly different kind of decomposed

I think about this a lot. it's conservationism in a cool, different, post-ironic font.
idk man as a gen z, gen z is turning conservative. leftist politics are largely viewed as lame rn. trad wives and alpha bros are in, you can’t be the friend that’s “too woke”, it’s not that deep, womp womp, world kept turning, etc. etc. etc. i do think this can be changed tho

Not conservationism being “woke.” lol

Because British conservationism after WW1, and to extent even before it, adapts to democracy.
Why is it that Britain somehow continually escapes pan European political upheaval, at least within the polity?

Sounds like a big win for conservationism.

there are tons of white guys ranging from phil jackson and neil gorsuch with a deep, impassioned, probably pretty problematic love for native americans and conservationism and cameron's genius is he figured out you can unlock all that stuff in lots of people by making them blue cat aliens

What an ass. I could imagine you converting people to conservationism, but conservatism? Hilarious.

If anything I think it's much easier to make a case for Woke Tolkien based on his attitudes towards multiculturalism than towards the ecological angle that people often seem to prefer to favour. I dont really think his "ecology" is about ecology per se so much as a kind of Tory conservationism
This is a genuinely complex writer and when we say "complex" we should take the time to appreciate the things we can affirmatively claim about him, not just the things we repudiate, or the things that bad people falsely claim as theirs.

“Ken Burns’: The Progressive Era” would unironically slap incredibly hard.

Open it with the peak of the Gilded Age and tie Roosevelt’s progressivism in with conservationism (and cross-market to his National Parks documentary!)

LOOK AT THIS PIKACHU LOOKING MOTHER FUCKER.

HE'S FUCKIN ADORABLE

HELL YEAH CONSERVATIONISM
Mini marsupial bounces back from the brink!

Once listed as Endangered, the crest-tailed mulgara expanded its range by more than 48,000 km² between 2015 and 2021, lifting its status to Least Concern. Biocontrol contributed to the heartwarming bounce-back.

NIMBYISM is not conservationism.
You can't make an ally out a person who doesn't believe your needs exist.

"What is the relationship of labour to liberalism and conservationism?" is a fascinating question.
They early lost the working class to other parties, which limited their reach.

Charlie Kirk was no saint or martyr. He preached hatred, massonogy, supported the 2nd Amendment and an archaic form of conservationism! Bottom line he killed more people than he saved. Not a hero but a 0!

this... was not actually a post about conservationism, random account

I've been asked by my semi-conscious colleague to confirm whether people also lik whale?

Unclear whether they plan on pivoting to conservationism or whether they have a new ice cream flavour idea for the Icelandic market.

The conservationism was coming to the fore by the end. Maybe he would’ve been out there with Greta Thunberg.
