Lego completely abandoning constraction figures (Bionicle, Hero Factory, etc) is genuinely wild to me and I simply do not understand why they decided to do that

Decided to soup up the Nuparu I got from the Piraka Stronghold! Now properly equipped with his claws, Laser Drill, and shoulder mounted Zamor launcher!

Confirmed, LEGO balljoints are too big for Miximize.
Allegedly there are third party efforts to increase what Constraction can connect with, so maybe they can bridge this?

If there’s one thing the LEGO Group loves, it’s bringing Bionicle back in every form but constraction figures since the theme ended a decade ago.

Knights was the first time we tried having mini and "constraction" versions of the same characters. We tried it again in Chima, and briefly in Bionicle. Never really took off.
I desperately wanted to build in a crossover between the two scales in the Citadel set, but it wasn't meant to be.
