I had written a vocal line that was apparently unhealthy, dangerous, and impossible for a mezzo/contralto because it was too low. I, a mezzo, can sing it comfortably. The other mezzo/contralto in the production could sing it comfortably. Multiple sopranos I sent it to could sing it comfortably.
