Walk-in cooler complete! With a small a/c unit & a Coolbot device to trick the a/c sensor, this room will stay at 37 degrees all year. How about CoolBot? It seems cool. *one year later* CoolBot is abandoned and a Twitch API change to increase the size of Mandarin Chinese kanji by 2px broke it.

Could it have been a conversion using a device called a Coolbot that allows you to create a refrigerated coolroom using a window air conditioner? Used in all sorts of spaces including vans.

Insulation and a lot of the electrical done. Still need to do ceiling boxes for lights, ceiling insulation, hang and insulate the door, install the a/c and hotwire it with the coolbot, etc

About to turn this weird old shed into a walk-in cooler using an A/C & coolbot. After shoveling out 1’ of wood shavings&chicken manure, we found a drain for a shower & a hole for a composting toilet. So apparently it was a bathroom, then someone’s chicken coop, and now will be our cooler. #farmlife

Needed an LG window unit and a coolbot controller. The rest is insulation and lumber, which i guess I better pick those up this weekend

I've thought about installing a small AC and a CoolBot to make it a year-round cold room, but I really can't justify that.

I've thought about installing a small air conditioner with a CoolBot digital controller to keep it cooler even in the hottest times of year, but I don't really need it to be cool then.

🤣🤣 do you eat them cold? I used to sneak some from the coolbot at restaurant I served at 25 years ago. Like what mouse ripped a whole in this package 🤷🏻‍♀️

For approximately the same amount, I'm finna pick up this toy to bench test.

Allegedly, it uses a heater bulb to 'trick the A/C to think it's warmer' so it stays cooling down past the usual 60* setting, theoretically reaching/maintaining upper 30's.
No word on how much faster window units die off.
