We read this may be Coprinopsis lagopus, a delicate and short-lived fungi, as the fruiting bodies last only a few hours before dissolving into a black (deliquescence)..

Memphite theology described him as the supreme creator of the universe who made the world, the gods, their cult-centres, shrines and images, the cities, food, drink and all the physical requirements of life. As the Lord of Truth, he also created divine utterance and established ethics. His creative actions were carried out through his thoughts (expressed through his heart) and his will (spoken by means of his tongue). The creative role of Ptah is described in a text known as the ‘Memphite Theology’ which is carved on a black granite stone (the Shabaka Stone – British Museum No 498), which was prepared to be set up in the Temple of Ptah at Memphis. Another load of digestate delivered to the #allotment today (shared with a neighbour).

A good soil conditioner, it can also host large numbers of #fungi, especially Grey Inkcap, Coprinopsis cinerea, and the cup fungus Peziza moravecii.
