The Corbynite Maneuver
Yes they gain the Corbynite votes but now have lost any further gains having lost the green focus to become the party of rump corbynism.

C-3PO: Oh, they've encased him in Corbynite! He should be quite well-protected

Oh yes. Was always a Corbynite, so that's not surprising.

It’s all the fault of the Corbynite entryists apparently. Also known as decent people with a moral conscience.

Six months ago I assumed that the various ex-Corbynite factions joining the Greens would have learned from previous failures and developed the patience to wait until after a few successes in the next elections before trying to pursue the wilder elements of an entryist agenda.

Well, that was wrong.

'Corbynite'

The disgruntled Corbynite activists are not useful though!

I think he was photographed in a taxi with a shocking set of teeth, but he was a recruitment consultant

there was also the screaming corbynite Artist Taxi Driver

It’s kind of ironic seeing the libs of the greens who granted have been there longer than many of us, wanting us to return to an irrelevance and bemoaning Corbyn entryism, lord above, makes me want to retract my monthly payments and not even a full on Corbynite

She was, of course, a massive Corbynite who ironically lost her short-lived place in the Commons when he contested his second election.

Ex-Labour MP enters Holborn and St Pancras by-election battle by backing Polanski

Eoin Clarke? Absolutely rabid Labour supporter (despite being from NI), support for factions jumped all over the place (I think he was a Corbynite *and* Starmer fan), blocked at the drop of the hat. A textbook 'how do you fit your actual day job around tweeting thousands of times per day?' type.

My original draft said "Corbynite/Momentum" if that helps?

If Greens want to argue that Corbynite left populism is working for them, it's your party. But if your Leader can't win a low turnout by-election in Camden and you've embraced anti-Semitism in the same week, then there may be warning signals worth paying attention to.....

Corbynite entryists have laid the ground for a series of rows that will end in the policy being reversed - or the party splitting

The Greens’ foolish anti-Zionism vote is a disaster for Zack Polanski

Lord ' Corbynite Party'. Risible
October 9, 2026 at 11:18 AM
When Polanski started droning on about his membership number increase my eyes rolled. That old chestnut again. Corbynite playlist stuff.

The independent candidate was an ex-Labour Corbynite who stood against Starmer. Most of the Corbynites and Tankies have migrated to the Greens.

My view

Labour lost about 4% of the 2024 vote, and Greens gained about the same - ignoring the Corbynite, Starmer-hating Feinstein vote from 2024 is dishonest...he clearly endorsed Polanski this time
October 9, 2026 at 5:51 PM
No. I’m truly pleased that she won and Polanski is, for the moment, back in his box. The Corbynite left truly poison everything they touch.
October 9, 2026 at 3:21 PM
I disagree.
I think the Corbynite entryists are sincere & I wouldn't call any of them crooks.
But they have their own agenda and it isn't a Green one.
October 9, 2026 at 11:07 PM
I see Green Party supporters are now going full Corbynite and blaming the media…

“It was a smear we gleefully voted for a racist motion without considering the consequences!”

“It was agents of Rupert Murdoch who convinced Polanski to try and titnotise a woman!”
The wheel spins as it should.

Who is celebrating? Who is a Corbynite?
October 9, 2026 at 12:42 PM
There is no way on earth I would vote for a party containing members from the toxic ex labour Corbynite Momentum
If the Greens go back to environmentalism then fine but while these cretins hijack policy eg one state Palestine then voting Green is off the table as far as I am concerned
What amazing biased illogic
that the only party which did better
in the by-election is the one
all the mass media are saying failed
and it's leader should resign ...
