Apparently the ~/Library/Metadata/CoreSpotlight folder gets FUCKING HUGE when using the Pages app.
It was well over 100GB. You deleted it and restarted. Your Mac is chill now.
The internet says you might have to do this every 2-3 days depending on how often you use Pages.

Note to future self:
Apparently the ~/Library/Metadata/CoreSpotlight folder gets FUCKING HUGE when using the Pages app.
It was well over 100GB. You deleted it and restarted. Your Mac is chill now.

The CoreSpotlight framework allows you to index any type of content, whether manually or, as in our case, from a Core Data database. Available since iOS 9, there’s no excuse not to enhance user engagement with the Spotlight feature.
