Geometry Dissolving Into Cosmic Wonder
#OpArt #ScreenprintArt #CosmicAbstract #AIArt
A square artwork on cream-colored paper featuring a striking geometric mandala design set against a deep space-inspired background. The background depicts a rich cosmic scene in deep navy blue and violet purple tones, scattered with white dots and clusters representing stars and nebulae, creating a galactic atmosphere. Centered on this cosmic backdrop is a bold optical illusion pattern composed of concentric, alternating black and cream-white stripes. The design merges two shapes simultaneously: a large diamond (rotated square) and an upright square, their outlines repeating inward in progressively smaller increments toward a tiny central square. This layering creates a mesmerizing tunnel-like depth effect, giving the impression of infinite recession into the center. The geometric pattern is precise and symmetrical, with crisp clean lines that contrast dramatically against the soft, painterly cosmic background. The corners of the artwork reveal glimpses of the starfield background, where subtle geometric line patterns echo the central motif in deep blue tones. The overall composition blends structured, mathematical precision with the organic, dreamlike quality of a galaxy painting, evoking themes of cosmos, sacred geometry, and meditative focus. The artwork rests on a light wood surface.
