I think this is the same in so many places - particularly for families already struggling with the increased #CostsOfDisability … which can mean access to friendship, social spaces & yes fun (!) becomes income-dependent.
In Thanet, it’s incredibly difficult to find activities that help build friendships. Clubs and activities have been decimated due to local authority cost cutting, leaving children and adults isolated

(The details of my treasonous actions? I offer free zoom sessions for exhausted parents of children who have suffered early life trauma, to share information about #DisabilityLivingAllowance - or #DLA - and whether or not claiming might help their families with the financial #CostsofDisability.)
