I was disappointed about the numbers of the Mexican Free-tailed bats, there was only about 25,000 or so. And, of course, the usual sky bands was held to only two. It was a cool evening, so maybe I will try again on a warmer night.

From last night. Mexican Free-tailed Bats and a Swainson's hawk on the chase. For some reason, there were a lot less bats than I expected. Hopefully their numbers will increase as the summer moves on.
