Tonight we celebrated Hobbit Day by throwing a festival & becoming an official village in #talesoftheshire. I am so grateful for this cozy game & will be spending a lot more time off-stream in Bywater.

Spring in Bywater is perfection! The flowers, wild & in gardens are so beautiful & the trees have such great variety! Loving all the new foragables & garden items. But that is it for me for the week, I will be back for Hobbit Day next week!

Not bad for a 'NFI what I am doing' craft! I forgot the florist wire but this is the progress made. Nothing is secured but that will be a next week issue when I pick this back up again. Time to hang the sign & then enjoy some downtime this weekend!

Hosted the Bywater Dish tonight on #TalesOfTheShire & worked on upgrading bag expansions via the Foraging club. I cannot rave about this game enough. I am 13hrs in & still have quite a lot more side questing & discoveries to explore!

Made a mock up for a hobbity vest only to find that the fit was way off & I need to do some alterations to the pattern. Sometimes things don't work out... & that's ok. I can still learn something about the experience. Putting this on hold for a bit

I could not be happier with how cosy #TalesOfTheShire is. It is incredibly relaxing & the art-style is so beautiful! I am super excited to see more of the game. And of course, we're already planning a bunch of upcoming crafty nights with a Hobbity theme!

Christmas in July is now complete with 2 new heat resistant mats for the table. Double sided so I can pick whatever colour to display. For something I was making up along the way, they turned out pretty good.

We got medieval for craft night & made our very own siege engine! My hands are so sore but this model was worth assembling for Hubby. Hopefully he can now find a place to proudly display it. Now... Should I make another🤔?

Thank goodness this damn craft is done. I've had a few stumbling blocks along the way & a few things I would do differently next time, but I love how this has turned out. Hopefully my nephew also loves it!

This Cubone project is cursed. The preserved moss did not adhere to the wooden base. Switched to chatting while typing up D&D notes as a nice backup.

If anyone has ideas how to adhere it to a wood base, let me hear them. Hot glue was not the solution...

Ignore this is a kids apron on an adults mannequin making it sit weird, but here is the matching bee apron to go with the rest of my daughters play kitchen items. Wish I had some dark green for the ties but made do with what I had in the stash to finish up.

Getting there with this project. Finished up the heat pads, drafted the pattern for the mitts, then cut & stitched away.

Oven mitts need some tweaks before I flip them the bee side out, PLUS a matching apron is next.
