Gonna start tagging this shit: #CreativesUnion

Researching various professional organizations today for the #CreativesUnion thing and, interestingly, there are a couple for webcomics people, which is quite cool.

Also, the webcomic space is kind of a mess: Hiveworks is a basketcase, Tapas is dead, and Webtoon is a corporate AI hellspace.

As I'm going through professional organizations - union, collective, etc - it's good to know there ARE people fighting the good fight. I just wonder how many people know about them? And do they coordinate?

A big point of the #CreativesUnion would be to help foster a pan-Creative identity:

Just wrote a 2300-word VERY rough draft of the working principles of the #CreativesUnion - what it should do and why. Foster community and communication; collaborate with but NOT replace existing organizations; promote and help develop open source tools to replace commercials products; create

I'll do what work and research I can but I'm just an idiot in a small city in Georgia working at a hotel: I have no push nor pull, no contacts, nothing, but there are people out there who DO know things, who can organize, can build and lead.
