Don’t Let Me In
She called from inside the house. The warning was already at the door.

A disheveled woman stands in a dim doorway, holding the receiver of a corded telephone to her ear. Wet, tangled dark hair falls across her face, partly hiding her intense stare. Her loose sweater is frayed at the sleeve. In front of her, she grips a large black sign whose glowing orange letters read “DON’T LET ME IN,” with a comma after “IN.” Warm light spills from a room behind her, outlining her hair and shoulders, while the hallway around her remains shadowy and blue-green. A dark wooden doorframe runs down the left edge of the image. Keywords: haunted doorway, telephone receiver, warning sign, glowing letters, tangled hair, frayed sweater, shadowy hallway, orange backlight, blue-green shadows, horror portrait AI-generated; use is permitted for non-commercial creative projects.
