old chibi art of lafiel from crest of the stars which is a stellar (har har) anime but only if you can overlook the sorta pro-imperialist vibe lol

Blue Water dubs like #ZetaGundam and #CrestoftheStars are bored-sounding, but I'll take them any day over the AI slop #BananaFish got, because there's a human element. #anime

All finished watching #CrestoftheStars. Lots of potential, but not really lived up to. I guess we get that in Banner. #anime

That's what this sci-fi political space opera needed, Inspector Zenigata. #CrestoftheStars #anime

The dub is pretty bad, but this scene is great. #CrestoftheStars #anime

I wonder if anyone else has noticed this, or if it's even intentional. #CrestOfTheStars #SeikainoMonshō #SeikainoMonsho #Lafiel #Jinto #VoicesOfTheVoid #VotV #ariral

Dear @crunchyroll.com,

Would it be possible to release a Blu-ray collection of Crest of the Stars and Banner of the Stars? I have the old Bandai DVDs of Crest and Banner I/II, but Banner III was only released in Funimation's out-of-print complete set.

Since LoGH has a new, ongoing anime (Die Neue These), now feels like the perfect moment for Sunrise to reboot its cousin series: Hiroyuki Morioka’s Crest/Banner of the Stars. Start with a Crest of the Stars movie trilogy—one film per volume.

Banner of the Stars is incredible—a lighter, character-driven LoGH. The slow burn between Jinto and Lafiel feels so organic. Can’t believe I only found this recently!
If you're new, start with Crest of the Stars.

I've been watching Banner of the Stars S1, and I think I've already found my favorite character: Atosuryua. This, and its predecessor, Crest of the Stars, are underrated and deserve more love.

As I've been into Space Operas lately, I decided to try these underrated gems of an anime, Crest of the Stars & Banner of the Stars.
